A l'exception de la première période qui "feelait" comme les deux dernières années, nos Olympiques ont montrer quelques griffes ce soir contre les Tigres.
J'aime toujours pas le fait que nous soyons trop petit et que l'adversaire nous bardasse ici et la à domicile, mais au moins nous avons jouer avec un certain acharnement et nous avons montrer quelques habileté au courant de ce match.
Poirier continue a s'établir comme futur "leader" de ce club, encore ce soir, il a montré comment dangeureux il peut être autour du filet adverse s'il a l'opportunité de contourner la défensive ou simplement s'il ce retrouver derrière celle-ci...comme ce soir lorsqu'il a compté son but. J'ai bien aimé quand il a dropper les gants pour venir en aide a un co-équipier...the kid has no idea how to fight, but the heck with it....he did the right thing!!!
Hyka semblait ressembler au Hyka de l'an passé....il fesait parti du jeu a l'attaque, ses passes montrait de la conviction...il jouait la "game" quoi!!! Thank god for that...will take it and it can only help us!!!
J'ai aussi bien aimé ce que j'ai vu de Burke, oui il est encore très lent et son sens du jeu n'est pas toujours a point...mais son "body language" nous indique qu'il travail et qu'il a le club a coeur...all in all...that's what we're asking for from our boys!!! Je ne peux pas dire la même chose de son co-capitaine, Yannick Dubé...un 20 ans ce doit d'être présent a chaque soir pour chacune de ses précenses sur la patinoire...c'était pas le cas ce soir!!!
Bourret a fait ce qu'il fait de mieux....sortir la rondelle de la zone avec une bonne première passe...2 buts de plus a sa fiche ne fera pas de tord non plus, mais il va devoir arrêter de prendre des punitions stupides...c'est fatiguant et c'est interminable aussi....que nous soyons en avance dans un match ou que nous tirons de l'arrière le gars "est dans boite"...c'est fatiguant!!! Get that fixed ASAP!!!
Nishi, je vais certainement pas commencer a "crapper" le kid après 2 blanchissages de suite...mais pour ceux qui regarde les matchs avec des lunettes roses....24 tirs au buts...3 tirs dangeureux (en fin de match)...i'm not convinced or any closer to be!!! Anyone remembers the cough up with the reserve stick in the second period here??? Or the 2 cross bars where he was beaten??? First star of the game....who gives the stars now days?!?!? Steeves patinait avec l'équipe ce matin...il sera intéressant de voir si Groulx va garder Brassard ou Nishi, si ce dernier continu a jouer mieux, il pourrait brouiller les cartes....Groulx a déjà opérer par le passé avec deux gardiens de 19 ans (Clermont et Lacerte)....de l'autre coté il a mentionner dans l'entrevu/article avec JFP que Brassard fesait parti du futur de l'équipe!!! A noter ici que Groulx a déjà par le passé ré-avaler ses mots....donc l'histoire est a suivre!!!
Deric Boudreau, le kid commence tranquille a ressembler a ce que nous voulons voir d'un Olympien, il ce promène dans la traffic, dérange l'adversaire...yé fatiguant comme ils disent...the kid has gumption...we like that...heck even Groulx likes that....should of had the third star instead of Nishi having the first one...but who cares really???!!! I'm glad he scored, you love to see kids like him score here and there...it makes everyone feel better!!!
Chapman, il va devoir me montrer qu'il peut jouer tout les soirs, ce soir j'était pas impressionner....he's still my favorite player out there...but tonight we didn't see Bigchaps23....we saw Nochaps00...be there every night Chappy, your making me look bad we your not...and I don't like that!!! ;--P
Les deux nouveaux, Simon Richard Tardif et Joey Brisebois....disons que nous avons peu vu Brisebois, à 6'2 et 200 livres j'imagine qu'il aura un role assez mitiger avec la formation de Groulx, disons qu'ont verra s'il est capable de dropper les gants...s'il fait pas ceci...il sera aussi utile que Belding l'était...et vous allez me voir dire d'ici 2 à 3 mois..."Un autre choix au repêchage aux poubelles"!!! Pour Tardif-Richard, nous avons rien n'a perdre...le kid a rien couté...avec Reway, Courtemanche, Soumakis et Knight-Rouleau de blessé...il aura sa chance de jouer ici et la...lorsque tout ce beau monde seront de retour...il sera retourner au JAAA!!!
Je parlais, via mon dernier blogue, que Shawi et Sherbrooke n'était pas des puissances et que Victo allait nous permettre de mieux évaluer notre équipe ce soir, malheureusement ce ne fut pas le cas...avec Whitney de blessé (leur gardien #1) et quelques blessures a certain de leur joueur, ils n'ont pas livré la marchandise. Peu importe, nous avons compter 5 buts et nous étions confortable durant toute la partie, il n'y avait pas de doute que nous étions la meilleur équipe sur la glace ce soir. Nous avons profiter des largesse de leur défensive et de leur gardien...c'est normallement exactement l'inverse depuis le début de la saison, nous sommes le clubs qui parait mal et endormi, ce soir ce fut différent pour une fois, making me say this!!! Will take it!!!!
Fait a noter que les Remparts ont complèté un échange avec Rouyn aujourd'hui...envoyant Kucherov a Rouyn...en retour ils ont reçu les service de Kamaev qu'il ont envoyé a Sherbrooke pour un choix de 5e ronde et un "swap" des choix Euro....en autre mot....oubliez un échange avec Hyka et l'arrivé d'un Sorensen avec nous, la situation des Euros est régler à Québec!!!
Bon bin....3 de suites ça change pas le monde.....sauf que...ça change le mal de place....ça donne de l'espoir aux partisans....ça permet a Groulx de dormir mieux et de possiblement prendre des décisions plus saine aux niveaux des échanges, ça permet aux joueurs de sourire un peu plus dans les coulisses de l'aréna, ça me permet à moi d'écrire autre chose ici que "Réveil toi Groulx-rie"....en autre mot...
C'est le fun de gagner des %^$#@*& d'games d'hockey!!!!

RépondreSupprimerA much better effort overall, especially on defence. The boys were backchecking and working very hard in their own end. Lots of intensity for sure, and a good win. I do not think Victo were at their best, and I think we caught them off guard with our play, but a good win nonetheless.
I agree about Boudreau, the kid works like hell and looks good out there. Burke too, just hope the kid can stay healthy all season. Hyka picked up his game for sure. And of course numb-nuts Bourri spoiled a good offensive game with more of his idiotic penalties... this guy's IQ must be lower than his age.
Nishi made some big saves in the third period to preserve his shutout after the outcome of the game had been decided, but he did not need to do much until then because we played so well on defence with the exception of the third period letdown after the outcome was not in doubt.
Poirier reminded me of Giroux when he stole the puck, walked in and scored his beauty! And for sure he cannot fight, you know where I sit, so I got a good view of his beat up face and the big cut across the bridge of his nose as he left the ice.
Now my friend, I am not surprized and you will not be surprized either that your favourite player is my least favourite... we are talking about Chickencrap Chapman. He is a punk, he only wants to mess with guys smaller than himself, he turned down Richer last time he was in town, and he turned down some bigger guys who challenged him last night. Any of the great enforcers you would care to mention were willing to take on all comers when necessary for the team, size did not matter to the great enforcers. But Chapman is a coward. And I am I strongly suspect that he is one of the dope smoking drunks on the team.
This being said, he is a good hard-nosed Tommy Tremblay type of player, and you do need guys like this on your team. But he needs to be willing to drop the gloves with some players bigger than himself, and he needs to get into better physical shape and have more stamina and energy, if he is going to impress me at all.
Has this team turned the corner? I do not know, let's see how we do against Montreal on Friday. We don't need a win, but we need another good effort.
I'll tell you something about Chappy, I do believe just like you that the kid has an attitude of some sorts, but he has to much grit to be let go...our team his way to soft....he we start taking guys like Chappy out of the line up will be an apetizer for any team in the league!!!

Agreed, we need Chapman for sure, no way we should let him go. BUT... he needs to be willing to drop them with guys like Richer when the chance comes up, and he needs to get into better shape. You can't win championships without guys like him on the team, but we both know he should be more effective than he is at this time.

RépondreSupprimerI too would agree with Leblanc on this. I do not understand the philosophy of having a home captain and a road captain. Just one makes sense, and Burke has been a consistent hard worker and team player all season.

Stooy: Usually junior hockey owners want the NHL.Without the NHL , there's less of a overall interest in hockey. The world juniors on TSN should fix that and get people into it though.But that's in a month.

Definetly a different set of fans....but this doesn't meen that we're doing enough to get fans to the Guert.

Well boys, Hull4life, I know you miss some of the Friday games due to work, so you may have missed our buddy Chickencrap Champman performing at his best. The genius runs the other goaltender when we are down 3-zip, and then one of their players goes at him and tries to start a fight! Perfect, right? We needed a fight at that particular moment to try to fire our boys up and get themselves back into the game... what does Chickencrap do??? He refuses the fight!!!!! Brilliant! What a suck!!! This moron will fight when the other guy is smaller than himself and when it does not really matter in the game. But when we really could have used a fight he sucks out. I screamed at the top of my lungs "Chickenshit" as he skated to the penalty box, and I know everyone on the Olympiques bench including Chapman himself had to hear me.

As far as evening out the penalties, yes I agree with you there, but he also would have evened them out with a fight since the other player would have gotten instigator.
