Enfin un premier duel Rouyn-Hull à domicile...je dis enfin car vous souvenez-vous des années ou nous semblions toujours jouer Rouyn ou Val-D'Or à domicile??? Anyways...étant donner le fait que nous sommes une victoire et une défaite depuis le début de notre "home stint" de 3 matchs....j'ai penser que le titre de "grudge match" serait approprié pour la situation qui sera notre dimanche après-midi.
Si je me fis a ce que j'ai vu mercredi et vendredi a Guertin, le coté positif de mon coeur indique que je verrai ceci demain:
- Un club qui semble avoir trouver une certaine combativité
- Une défensive plus stable
- Un club mieux organisé et moins pénalisé
L'envers de la médaille m'indique lui...:
- Un club qui joue 2 période sur 3
- Une performance ordinaire d'un gardien
- Un club qui ce fait brasser
Disons que le deux derniers matchs était beaucoup mieux que ce que nous avons vu depuis le début de la saison. Loin de crier "La Coupe" ici...mais nous sommes forcer d'admettre que même si c'était des pas de bébe....ont semble dans la bonne direction...personne peut confirmer encore que c'est la bonne direction...mais au point ou nous étions rendu, c'est au moins une forme de direction!!!
Ce que les Huskies nous réserve, un club qui patine très rapidement....si nos Piques ont les patins lourds demain...oubliez la game immédiatement....Rouyn sont toujours en mouvement. Peu d'expert voyait les Huskies jouer du hockey aussi compétitif cette saison mais avec une fiche de 19-10-0-1 ils ne sont pas a prendre a légère. Encore moins pour un club dans notre position.
Si Groulx a une chose a faire demain, c'est bel et bien d'envoyer son duo de défenseur de 20 ans sur la patinoire lorsque les Dea, Kucherov et Andrighetto seront sur la patinoire. Vendredi contre les Foreurs ils ce sont payer une soirée de 12 points a trois. Kucherov (3-2) Andrighetto (1-4) et Dea (2-0) vous vous souvenez d'une soirée ou nous avons dit quelque chose de semblable de nos Hyka, Poirier, Reway et companie?!?!?!
C'est tu juste moi ou le choix de 9e ronde envoyé à Rimouski deux semaines passé pour l'excellent Joey Brisebois semble déjà gaspiller???!!! Can anyone say....Groulx-rie!!!
De l'autre coté de la médaille Simon Tardif-Richard peut jouer dans la LHJMQ, il ne brisera jamais de record...mais il peut jouer et dans les circonstance que nous vivons en ce moment...ou depuis 2 ans (blessures)...will take it...barely, but will take it!!!! Let be fair....he was free!!!
Robert Steeves dans moins de deux semaines...who's counting seconds here?!?!?! A ne pas oubliez ici que Steeves ne sera surement pas a son meilleur a son retour....patience should be given here...considering what we just witnessed for the last 3 months...how freakin bad could a bad Steeves be compared to a hot Nishi?!?!?! Take your time Steevo, will wait!!!
Will have our hands full tomorrow for sure, if the boys can pluck out a win and go 2 and 1 in the last 3 games at home....i'll call it a job done....but 1 and 2 doesn't sound has good doesn't it?!?! We need our top guys to play like it's a must win game...or else will pay and will pay early in the game!!!
Let's see some more of that Reway and Poirier give and go like we did to close the game on the Volts on friday....or how bout picking section 12 for the free slice of pizza and the Hully gong show parade...EEEeeeEEeeeeeuuuummMmMHHh....I'll take door number 1 Bob.

RépondreSupprimerI agree that we are playing a little better, but the emphasis should be on the world little and not the word better. Drummonville absolutely stunk the joint out on Friday, and any good team should have bombed them. We played a little better on defence for sure and avoided dumb penalties. But we have a very long way to go.
RépondreSupprimerWell, despite another loss there were still encouraging signs. We played a more inspired game, although there was a letdown in the third. The biggest problem this game was of course goaltending, Brassard reminded me of Clermont in this one. But the team worked a little harder in both directions, and overall they are now playing like the middle of the pack type of team that they are. I will also say that over the last two games Chapman has played much better hockey. I think the team has turned the corner and are now moving in a positive direction. But again, they have never been in potential more than a middle of the pack club this season, and that is all we can expect. They are not the type of club that can be expected to get past the first round of the playoffs. And Groulx has not done much of a job of rebuilding in this second rebuild year. Next year is, or should have been the target, the year when guys like Poirier, Chapman and others are 19, but it is difficult to see us being a real contender next season. Therefore it might be back to the drawing board and a completely blow cycle. We need scouts, and we need a real GM. And I am not certain that we do not need a coach as well.
